Sinossi
“La primavera tarda ad arrivare” è una storia di coraggio e terre lontane: uomini e donne allontanati dai propri paesi in seguito alle scosse sismiche di ottobre 2016 o che sono rimasti in un Appennino quasi disabitato e in un territorio militarizzato accessibile solo con specifiche autorizzazioni, in un panorama di transenne e macerie che è rimasto immutato, cristallizzato, dal giorno delle scosse.
Tutte queste persone vivono uno stato di sospensione dall’usuale, consumate dal timore di non poter tornare mai più a vivere questi territori, o di non ritrovare la propria comunità e il proprio paese. Il Monte Bove, continuamente scrutato da chi è rimasto ed evocato da chi è lontano, è la loro montagna sacra, il simbolo concreto e identitario a cui tutti cercano di restare attaccati.
“La primavera tarda ad arrivare” è la storia di uomini e donne dei Sibillini che si oppongono alla narrazione nociva dei giovani che abbandonano queste terre. È la storia, reale e possibile, di giovani che vogliono raccogliere il testimone degli anziani e continuare a vivere nel proprio territorio, ingrandire la propria attività, sposarsi, crescere qui i loro figli, in modo compatibile con la grande ricchezza naturalistica e ambientale. E anche, inevitabilmente, con i terremoti dell’Appennino Centrale.
Synopsis
“La primavera tarda ad arrivare” (“Springtime is coming late”) is a story of courage and faraway lands: men and women moved away from their towns after the October 2016 earthquakes or remained in semi-abandoned Appenine and in a militarized territory, accessible only via specific authorizations, in a landscape made of barriers and ruins which has remained unchanged, crystalized, since the days of the quakes.
All these people live in a state of suspension from the usual, worn out by the fear of not being able to live their territories or find their communities or towns ever again. Mount Bove, continuously observed by those who remained and evoked by those far away, is their holy mountain, the concrete and identity symbol everyone tries to hang on to.
“La primavera tarda ad arrivare” is the story of men and women of the Sybillines who fight against the toxic narration of youth leaving these lands. It is the story, real and possible, of young people who want to take the heritage of the old people and keep on living in their territory, expanding their activity, getting married, raising their children, in harmony with the natural and environmental richness. And also, inevitably, with the Central Appenine earthquakes.
